About Knislinge Health Centre

Knislinge Health Centre is located in Östra Göinge Municipality with good commuting options. It is a well-functioning and stable unit with just under 9,000 registered patients and approximately 48 employees. We work patient-centred and are keen to provide good, close care with care, focusing on high accessibility, quality, and continuity. Here, we have an open atmosphere and a good work climate with a focus on teamwork and a cross-professional approach to offer our patients the best available care. Over the years, we have been nominated and won awards several times as one of the region's best units.

At the health centre, six specialists in general practice and five resident doctors work together with nurses, paramedics, assistant nurses, and secretaries in a close and well-functioning collaboration. The health centre has long experience as a teaching health centre and hosts a varying number of AT (basic training) and BT (specialist training) doctors who are part of our well-organized doctor's office. Additionally, we have a mobile care team staffed by doctors every day, and we are responsible for two of the municipality's special housing facilities.

Competence development is important to us, and collegial dialogue has high priority with regular doctor meetings, scheduled development time, and opportunities for further education. There are good opportunities and flexibility to adapt your working hours to your wishes regarding working time, side assignments, and areas of responsibility.

Job Responsibilities

As a specialist in general practice with us, you work with investigating, treating, and following up on patients of all ages. You have a varied job with both acute and planned patient visits and collaborate closely with other professions to provide patients with good and close care.

We work in teams and have experienced district nurses and nurses with their own specialist clinics. At the health centre, there is a physiotherapy clinic, a psychosocial team, a dietician, an occupational therapist, a rehabilitation coordinator, as well as a family centre with Child Health Services (BVC). Together, we create good conditions for close collaboration and a holistic perspective on the patient.

The operations also include a mobile doctor team with good cooperation with the municipality's nurses. The team is responsible for two of the municipality's special housing facilities and conducts acute home visits if necessary.

When you start with us, you receive an individually adapted introduction based on your experience to create the best possible conditions for a secure start. You will get your own patient list adapted to your employment percentage, with a goal of 1,100 registered patients at full time. We continuously work on developing the operations and see you as an important part of our work to offer good and close care.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, you must be a specialist in general practice with the eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Furthermore, you must have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in general practice and share the same goals and visions as us: to provide good, close, and quality care to our patients. You should be curious and receptive to patients' needs and have an easy time adapting to different circumstances. Furthermore, your work is characterized by being meticulous, structured, and having a flexible approach. Personal suitability is given great importance.

Employment Terms
